HTML Band MySpace Design – Should You Use HTML Coding For Your Profile?
HTML code can be used on your band’s MySpace profile, it was a language that can help you customise your profile and make it stand out.
Many bands simply find a website that offers free HTML codes and just copy and paste the code into their profiles, however I think this is a big mistake because you end up with a lot of pages just looking exactly the same.
For a band to really become the centre of attention on MySpace they need a good layout and it needs to look professional, if anyone is going to take your band seriously then you should consider paying a professional who knows HTML code to create a custom built page for your band.
A good designer will mix HTML code with CSS styling and produce something that has good contrast and usability but also looks stunning, the designer will also include any graphical elements that would add to the design such as your bands logo or any album artwork you have.
CSS can be used to style the page in such a way that it matches up with the design, for example if you have a blue background on your profile then its going to be considered bad design to stay with the standard blue underlined links because users simply wont be able to see them.
